Chairman of the Board

Brian is a globally experienced healthcare private equity executive whose talent and expertise is ideally suited to supporting and advancing the excellence Ad-Tech promises to its associates and clients. Throughout a long and impressive career, Brian has served in a wide variety of capacities from Private Equity Operating Partner, to Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. A highly accomplished executive, Brian has consistently demonstrated an ability to implement business vision across a wide variety of company and geographic cultures. 

Education includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The London School of Economics and Political Science - TRIUM Program and Bachelors of Arts Degrees in History and History Religion from Erskine College.

Tom Ockwood

Chief Financial Officer

Tom oversees all of Ad-Tech’s financial and administrative areas including Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and IT. He brings more than 15 years of experience to helping ensure Ad-Tech’s financial and operating performance. Tom’s career in public accounting began with PwC in Milwaukee. Before joining Ad-Tech in 2021, he served as the Vice President of Finance for Velvac, Incorporated. 

Education includes a Bachelors of Business Degrees in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Science Degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Brendan McCrea

Advisor to Ad-Tech

Brendan transitioned to an advisory role in 2023. He provides guidance and support to our Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering leadership. Brendan brings over 30 years of biotechnology expertise to the Ad-Tech organization. Since the start of his career as summer intern at Bard Vascular Systems in Boston, Brendan has lead technology development, offshore manufacturing transfers, and has broad R&D, Operations, QA & RA management in both pharmaceutical and medical device segments.

Education includes a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lowell and a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Catherine (Katie) Valimont

Clinical Sales Support Specialist, Western U.S.

As part of Ad-Tech’s industry-leading Clinical Sales Support team, Katie works directly with surgeons, technicians, specialists and other caregivers to help ensure optimal patient outcomes. In addition, she collaborates with the company’s marketing officer too, contributing key industry insights to help develop and deliver information our clinical partners need. Katie’s career in the medical device industry began in 2014, following an internship in Orthopedic Rehab. Katie is a passionate advocate for epilepsy patients, founding the KJ Foundation, a SUDEP-focused nonprofit to fund research and treatment. She earned a Bachelor of Communication Studies with a minor in Legal Studies from Hamline University, where she was also active in sports and the university newspaper.

Devon Moloney

Director of Operations

Driven by a personal drive to improve the lives of patients and their caregivers, Devon Moloney helps ensure that Ad-Tech systems and processes possess the reliability and resilience Ad-Tech’s customers expect and their patients depend on. A Texas native, Devon has spent his adult life in Wisconsin. He joined Ad-Tech in 2015. Originally serving as an entry-level Quality Engineer, his exceptional performance led to being promoted to Director of Engineering. Later, his desire to make an impact on Ad-Tech’s day-to-day operations earned him the role Director of Operations. Devon earned his BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kelsey Unrath

Director of Sales & Customer Service

As a member of Ad-Tech’s executive leadership team, Kelsey’s scope of responsibilities is wide and deep. From client retention to clinical applications to marketing trends and long-term business strategy, Kelsey’s commitment to healthcare providers and their patients is evident in everything she does. Her product knowledge and market insights help shape the company’s training and management functions. And her broad range of experience impacts every Ad-Tech market initiative. A skillful communicator and manager with experience in multifaceted internal and external management, Kelsey’s roles at Ad-Tech have included administration, customer support and sales. Kelsey holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource and Workforce Development from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Kimberly Franz

Director of Office Administration

Heading up business operations for Ad-Tech’s growing team and expanding product portfolio, Kimberly brings more than 30-years of administrative, legal and management experience to her role. She joined Ad-Tech in 2021, relocating from California to assist with Ad-Tech’s reorganization in the wake of its acquisition by ArchiMed. With responsibilities that include Human Resources, Office Facilities, Employee Engagement and Event Planning & Execution, Kimberly also supports the executive team while developing and enforcing Ad-Tech office procedures. Through it all, Kimberly helps ensure that Ad-Tech products and clinical support expertise are where they need to be, when they need to be for caregivers and their patients.

Rachel Hinkelman

Clinical Sales Specialist, East Coast & International

As part of Ad-Tech’s industry-leading Clinical Sales Support team, Rachel contributes to improved patient outcomes by partnering with surgeons and other care givers to deliver Ad-Tech devices and operating room support. Rachel joined Ad-Tech in 2015 after serving in award-winning sales leadership roles for a variety of medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Pharmacology degree from the University of Alberta where she collaborated with the School of Dentistry to publish and later present research to the American Dental Association. An active volunteer and patient advocate, Rachel serves on the board of KJF, a nonprofit raising funds for epilepsy research.

Tony Porn

Director of Engineering

Leading Ad-Tech’s engineering and quality teams, Tony directs Ad-Tech specialists whose sole focus is developing the industry’s finest electrodes and increibles. Tony first joined Ad-Tech in 2013 as a Biomedical engineer, earning a promotion to Manager in his first year. He later joined Vesta Lubrizol, a medical device contract manufacturer, as a Quality Engineer focused on CAPA, risk assessment and quality risks. He returned to Ad-Tech in 2021 as Quality Engineering Manager, later accepting the role of Director. Tony holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Andrew (Drew) Rannells

Director of IONM

With nearly 20-years of leadership supporting surgeons and other clinical professionals, Drew joined Ad-Tech’s sales and leadership teams to lead the company’s expansion into the rapidly growing field of Intraoperative Neuromonitoring – where specialists like Oncologists and Orthopedists are recognizing the immense value of neuromonitoring for improved patient outcomes. Before joining Ad-Tech, Drew was a team leader for Zimmer Biomet’s ortho device group. At Ad-Tech, he brings important clinical & technical insights and operating room know-how to help our clients and their patients achieve optimal results.

Brooke Winter

Corporate Controller

Brooke leads the finance department in month end close and financial statement preparation process, streamlining it to enable timely decision making. She also works to strengthen and improve internal controls, managing areas such as the cycle count program and coordination of annual audits. Brooke is also responsible for budgeting and providing support and analysis to the leadership team in alignment with the long-term growth strategy across all areas of the business. Before joining the Ad-Tech team in 2021, Brooke held several roles in Finance at SC Johnson, supporting areas such as Global Supply Chain, Global Internal Audit, and Global Consumer Brands. Education includes a Bachelors of Business Degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business. Brooke is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Frederick Guesneau

Director of Regulatory Affairs

Frederick oversees Regulatory Affairs, ensuring Ad-Tech products and quality management systems exceed the expectations of its customers and medical device regulations. Frederick has over 30 years of technical experience leading Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs functions in military, domestic, and medical product segments. Before joining Ad-Tech, Frederick led American Orthodontics Corporation Quality and Regulatory Affairs functions, including successful FDA, MDSAP, and EU MDR certifications. Frederick secured a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marquette University and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Laval in Quebec, Canada.

Hannah Sonnentag

Clinical Support Specialist

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, complemented by a minor in Business of Life Sciences, from Indiana University. Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, Hannah was appointed with the role of team leader for multiple Business of Life Sciences case competitions, where she led her team to remarkable victories while proudly representing Indiana University. Moreover, Hannah held a significant position on the board of her sorority as the philanthropy chair. In this role, she collaborated closely with the Riley Children’s Hospital Foundation, working diligently to organize the annual IU Dance Marathon. Hannah’s commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond her academic and philanthropic pursuits, as she actively engages in local Health Now outreach programs to promote wellness and healthcare education. During her leisure time, she finds joy in outdoor activities, including hiking and gardening, and she cherishes the moments spent with family and friends. Motivated by personal experiences and a strong desire to enhance the lives of patients with epilepsy, Hannah is driven to serve as a compassionate advocate. Her strong sense of purpose led her to embark on a new journey as a Clinical Sales Specialist at Ad-Tech, where she is eager to contribute her expertise and make a positive impact.

Judith Wright

Director of Marketing

Judith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing. She brings more than two decades of industry experience creating go-to-market strategies to Ad-Tech and has successfully driven adoption of disruptive technologies in the Neurosurgery market. In her most recent role at Medtronic, Judith commercially launched and drove the adoption of robotic technology for functional surgery needs. She worked closely with Engineers, Neurosurgeons, Sales, Finance, and Clinical Service to ensure the market success of many Medtronic neurosurgical technologies. For fun, Judith enjoys outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, and paddleboarding with her family.

Lisa Pluciennik

Clinical Sales Support

Lisa brings strong clinical support to her role with Ad-Tech having worked in various departments of a Level 1 Trauma center in Illinois. She started her career 23 years ago as an Oncology nurse before moving to the Intensive Care Unit. While in ICU, she became a member of the Rapid Response team and the lead CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) RN. In addition to ICU, Lisa has worked as a Nursing Supervisor. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) from the Marquette University (2002).

When not working, Lisa and her husband of 20 years are raising four outstanding children, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.

Noah Gabriel

Clinical Support Specialist

Noah Gabriel is an Imaging Technologist with 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In 2011, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science degree. Alongside his professional endeavors, Noah finds immense joy in spending quality time with his wife, his daughter and their dog Jordan. When he's not working, Noah has a passion for sports, particularly basketball, golf, and football. Specializing in X-Ray and CT scanning, he has worked in various healthcare settings, adapting to diverse environments and gaining valuable insights. Providing excellent customer service is one of Noah's strengths, as he firmly believes in the importance of compassionate care for patients. He is grateful for the opportunities and challenges that have shaped him both personally and professionally. Moving forward, Noah remains enthusiastic about making a positive impact to a great company in Ad-Tech.

Heading up Ad-Tech’s industry-leading Clinical Support and Sales team, Taylor brings 10-years of healthcare industry experience covering a wide breadth of responsibilities including account management, business development and leadership. Taylor graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2010 and is an avid lover of the outdoors and area professional sports teams.
